MSG Entertainment (MSGE), the live entertainment arm of Cablevision Systems Corporations, is a worldwide entertainment company recognized for its signature combination of event production and entertainment marketing. Radio City has hosted renowned artists including Tony Bennett, Phish, Alicia Keys, Usher, Bette Midler, Neil Young, Don Henley, Mary J. Blige, Enrique Iglesias, Beck and Josh Groban among others. Family theatrical productions have included Annie, Peter Pan, Sesame Street Live, Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, The Wiggles and more.
The Legendary venues have played host to some of the most prestigious award shows in the country, including the Grammy Awards, MTV VMAs, Tony Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards, VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards, as well as the 39th Annual Country Music Awards, which marked the first and only time the show has appeared outside of Nashville. Three very important benefit concerts have also marked the history of both Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall, including "From the Big Apple to the Big Easy" in 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina; "The Concert For New York City" to celebrate the strength, resilience and pride of New York City and America in the wake of the September 11 tragedy; and George Harrison's 1971 Concert for Bangladesh, arguably the first major benefit live concert event of its kind.
