About the Show

Alphaville makes a stop on their Chicago debut at The Chicago Theatre on August 6th!

Iconic German synth pop group Alphaville enjoyed major success in the United States with their hits “Forever Young” and “Big in Japan”, Enjoying a lasting career around the globe. Alphaville were formed by vocalist and lyricist Marian Gold and keyboard player Bernhard Lloyd in 1982. Originally known as Forever Young, the band borrowed the name Alphaville from the acclaimed 1965 film by Jean-Luc Godard.

In 1983, Alphaville landed an international record deal with WEA, and the following year they released their debut single, “Big in Japan.” The song soon became a major worldwide hit, and Alphaville’s first album, Forever Young, quickly followed. Alphaville has had several new albums over the years, including their latest album released in April of 2017.

About Christopher ANTON and the Joneses

Inspired by their love of 80s Synth Pop music, Christopher ANTON (former lead singer of Information Society) and the Joneses continue to entertain huge crowds and bring their own brand of Synth-Rock, Pop, Dance and New Wave to the 21st century.

Christopher ANTON showcased his talent when he was selected to be the lead vocalist for Information Society, a band many of us know so well with hits like “What’s On Your Mind? (Pure Energy)” and freestyle-fusion hit “Running”.
